Part Eight

Buffy snuggled into Angel's arms, but after a few seconds realized it wasn't Angel, it was just a pillow. She looked around the room. He was nowhere to be seen.

"Angel?" She asked to the empty room. She sat up in bed, making sure the covers were over her chest. She wasn't wearing anything, and the door was slightly open. She didn't want Spike peeking at her. She closed her eyes, and listened for a moment. There was nobody even in the mansion at the moment. She sighed, and got dressed into a long, black, tight, spaghetti strap dress, and a pair of black platforms. She slipped on Angel's jacket, and went downstairs into the garden. The place was totally deserted, not even any guards were wandering about. She walked outside through the back door. The door led to a big, big, big open grassy field. So this is where all the rest of the town went, into a big field for some rich snob. She looked out and saw a figure laying in the grass. She walked into the field towards the figure. As she got closer she saw it was Angel laying in the field stargazing. She approached him quietly, like a cat. Once she got to him, she stuck her head right over his viewing area. He was startled, and he jumped a little.

"Hey." She said with a smile. He smiled back. "I wondered where you had went." She added.

"Sorry." He replied, his eyes pleading her to kiss him. She smiled, and kneeled down over him. She would make him wait. She laid down next to him, trying to find up in the sky what he was looking at before so intently.

"What are we looking at?" She asked him, cuddling up near him. He put his arm around her. He loved the feel of holding her.

"Right now we are looking at the night sky." He replied, staring into the sky She laughed. "The moons full." He whispered, pointing to the full moon up in the sky. "There will be ware wolves out tonight." He finished.

"Isn't tonight like the third night in a row with a full moon." She asked him. He seemed to be pretty into looking at the night sky. It must be because its the only thing he'd had for so long, the night.

"You mustn't forget that we are on the hellmouth." He said trying to impersonate Giles, as he shook his finger at her. She looked up at him, and laughed. She took the finger he was shaking at her, and kissed it.

"I like your hands." She said. He gave her a weird face.

"Thank you, I think. Now is that for looking at, or do my hands taste good or something." He asked her. She giggled.

"There cool to look at, but I don't know about how they taste..." She said taking his hand. She sucked on his index finger, he quickly took it away.

"Sorry, my hands are for crushing bones, holding you, and looking at, no tasting." He said. She gave him a puppy dog face, and sat on top of him. He rapped his arms around her waist, and stuck is finger into her cleavage, hooking it over the neck of her dress. He pulled her down slowly.

"Now there's a way to get me to kiss you." She said, kissing his nose.

"You have bad aim." He said, pulling her chin down so her lips touched his. She kissed his mouth softly at first, but then more passionately. His tongue slip past her lips. He frenched well, she wonder where he learned to do it so well. Never mind, she didn't want to know. She suddenly felt a sharp pain in her bottom lip, and realized Angel had bitten her lip, and was sucking some of the blood out of her through her lip. It didn't really hurt, it actually felt kind of good. He licked her bottom lip, and went back to kissing her. She broke the kiss for a second to say something.

"Angel..." She started. He looked at her, and brushed a stray hair off her face that fallen out of the demi twist she had put her hair up in.

"Mmm-hmm?" He asked.

"You would think that you biting my lip would hurt me... but it felt good. Why?" She asked him. He shrugged.

"I guess 'cause were both vampires. I dunno, look it up." He said, shrugging again. She laughed.

"I'm too lazy." She paused slightly, and looked into the field. She turned back to him. "Shall we go get something to eat? I already know your hungry." She said, pointing out the fact that he had drank some of her blood. He sat up, so she was just sitting in his lap, except she was facing him. "This is a weird position." She said, even though she liked it. He kissed her nose, and turned her around so she was facing out into the field.

"Better?" He asked her. She nodded in response. He stood up, picking her up with him.

"You know, I'm not paralyzed." She said. He smiled, and cradled her in his arms.

"I know." He said simply. She rested her head on his shoulder, the soft velvet of his shirt felt nice on her face. "Now, to find something to eat." He said, letting her down on her feet.

"We could go get some kids from the Bronze, and then go bother Willow. We both have invitations there." She suggested. He looked at her for a second. She changed every day. Every day she became more familiar with being a vampire, and more fun to be around. She took too many things for granted though, like he usually did. She took after him. It was funny how traits were passed down between vampires, although Buffy had always taken too many things for granted, but now, it was different. Drusilla sometimes was too sure of herself, but she was insane, so you couldn't tell the difference. Spike wasn't like that though, he was usually the one to warn him not to be so sure that what he was going to do would work.

"Angel!" She yelled deliberately at him. He snapped out of it.

"Hmm?" He asked. She smiled.

"Did you hear what I said?" She asked him.

"Yeah, Bronze, and Willow. Sounds cool." He said, still in his own little world.

"What's it like where you are?" Buffy asked him. He looked up at her, and smiled.

"I'm sorry, I'm just a little out of it." He said, shaking his head.

"I noticed." She replied. He grinned.

"Sorry." He said glumly.

"You know, just a few minutes ago, you were okay." She said. He smiled.

"That's 'cause we were kissing." He said, smirking lightly. She smiled back.

"Well then, lets make you better." She said, grabbing the front of his shirt, and pulling him toward her. Almost immediately their lips met, crashing together passionately. After kissing for about 5 minutes, she tore her lips from his.

"Now, while your still with me, lets go get something to eat."

Part Nine

Cordelia woke slowly. All her muscles ached from when Angel had bothered her. She sat up and stretched. She looked outside and saw that she had passed the day sleeping.

"Great, I wake up to the moon now." She went into the bathroom and took a hot bubble bath.

She sank into the bubbles, letting the bath absorb all her bad feelings. She herd a noise in her room which startled her. She got out quickly, and slipped on her robe. Did Angel have a invitation to her house? She thought back, and sighed. He didn't. He had never even been in her house, but Buffy had. She could invite him in. She grabbed a cross that she had had in the bathroom. She slowly opened the door, nobody there. She sighed again, and went and sat on her bed. She felt a breeze behind her. She looked back and saw the window was open.

"Did I leave that open?" She asked herself. She shrugged and went over to close it.

.

Angel watched from the corner of her room as she got up, leaving the cross on her bed. He was feeling pretty awful at the moment, probably 'cause there were so many freaking crosses in the room. He moved quietly over to her in till he was right behind her. Cordelia turned around, and jumped about a foot.

"Cordelia, we meet again." He said smiling. She laughed nervously. She tried to run, but he caught her waist, and shoved her against the wall with his body. Buffy was off dealing with Willow, so if he did anything nasty, like he did to most of his female victims, she wouldn't yell at him. He smiled, and slipped his hand into the her robe. She tried to wiggle away, but found that he was holding her against the wall too hard.

"Pervert!" She yelled at him.

"Hey, I'm a vampire. I am entitled to be perverted in every way." He said as he started to untie her robe. The phone rang which startled both of them. He looked over at the phone, and closed his eyes for a second. Suddenly the phone fell off the table onto the floor. It stopped ringing.

"How did you do it? Are you like Luke Sky walker or something." She said trying to make him do something else other then rape her. He laughed at her.

"No, everybody can do it, its just it takes a lifetime to master. Unfortunately, you don't even get a quarter of a lifetime."

.

Buffy watched for a bit as Willow slept. After a while she tired to open the door. It didn't open at first, but then she got it. She was about to go in when she noticed she couldn't. Willow must of dis invited her. Oh well, she would wait till Willow went for a walk or something.

She jumped off the balcony, and landed on her feet. She decided to walk over to Cordelia's, it was only a few blocks away. Just as she got there, Angel jumped of the roof.

"Hey." She said with a smile. He smiled back.

"Enjoy Willow?" He asked.

"I didn't get her. Some how she dis invited me." She said glumly. "But I snagged a some guy on the way here." She added. "You?" She asked. He smiled nervously.

"Mmm-hmm." He said. She smiled, and started to walk over to Cordelia's window. "Where are you going?" He asked.

"To see the body." She said without turning around. He was in trouble. He hadn't put the robe back on her. He watched as she jumped on to the roof, and went through the window. He was waiting for her to scream his name, but it didn't happen. She came down with a smile. He was confused.

"Your not mad?" He asked as she came down.

"No." She said simply. "Its not like I haven't done it before."

Part Ten

Joyce walked cautiously home. There were such things as Vampires? Giles had explained everything. She finally understood her daughter, but it was too late. She decided that she would read the whole diary to help her understand who her daughter really was. Before she had left Giles had gave her millions of crosses. Her pockets where bulging with them.

She couldn't believe this was all happening. One moment her life was normal, and now... every things changed.

Her daughter, and her daughters boyfriend were evil vampires. Wonderful. As she walked home she couldn't help but think of her little 17 year old daughter having sex with a handsome 242 year old vampire she had only met once. She sighed as she took her keys out and stuck them in the lock. She stopped for a second, she heard a noise behind her. She turned around slowly. In front of her was Buffy, vamped out and everything.

"Hi Mom."

.

Willow, Jenny, Oz, and Giles sat in the library in silence. Giles had just explained everything to Oz and Jenny, and had just told Willow about Cordelia's death.

Willow sighed softly, and pushed her terrible thoughts behind her. "We have to find the curse." She said breaking the silence. Giles looked at her blankly.

"I wish we knew how." He said, sighing softly.

"Well, we will just have to find out how. And we better hurry up!" She said firmly.

"Well, we better get to work then." Jenny said in her ready to do anything tone. She said heading into the stacks.

"That's the spirit!" Willow said. "Come on, we got find this curse, and curse our vampirettes! The more time we waste, the more people they kill. So, get your butt's out of that velcrow chair, and let's find it!" She yelled at a very stunned Oz, and Giles.

"O-Oh k." Oz said, a little afraid he might anger her more. She nodded, and headed into the world of books.

.

Oz looked through what seemed like the hundredth book that night. His eyes tiredly skimming the page, and then the one after.

Something suddenly caught his tired eyes. "The spell of Restoration." He mumbled to himself, as he read over the spell. It was it! It was the stupid spell they had all been looking for all night! Exiting out of the stacks, he ran down the stairs, and stuck the book in Giles' face. "I found it!" He yelled, nearly deafening the man.

Giles grabbed the book from him, and skimmed the page quickly. His face lit up as he read it. "This it! Oh, good job, Oz!" He said cheerfully. His slayer and her vampire lover would finally be back! He read over what they needed for the spell, and ran into his office to get the supplies. "Orb of Thessula, and herbs." He mumbled to himself, as he took the things carefully off the shelf. He put them down on his desk and sat down, and looked over the spell. It was a lot to read, and he knew it would not be unknown to Buffy, and Angel with the psychic vampire, Drusilla. There was so many things that could go wrong, so many things that he still could not find. He did not know how they were going to pull this of, but he was going to make it happen.

.

Buffy sat across from Angel in the garden, her foot outstretched toward him. "Rub my feet?" She asked with a cute smile.

"Of course, anything for you, love." He said with a grab of her small foot. He kissed each toe individually, making her sigh softly. Then he started massaging her right foot, rubbing his fingers over her sensitive muscles in small circles.

"Mmm, that feels good." She said softly.

"Good." He said kissing up her leg, her tiny leather skirt giving him easy access. He lay comfortably on top of her, and kissed her neck, nipping it with his fangs lightly. The blood slowly tickled Down her neck, and across her collar bone. He licked it up, like a cat licking at a saucer of milk. He kissed the wound slowly, and watched as it healed with in seconds.

He jumped off her quickly, he looked around frantically. She looked at him strangely. "What is wrong?" She said, taking his hand, and standing up next to him.

"I'll be right back." He said, almost as if he was talking to himself. He ran out of the room, without another word.

"Oh well." She sighed, and sat back down on the velvet couch, that oddly enough sat in the middle of the garden.

.

"Dru!" Angel called as he swiftly came into Spike and Dru's room. Spike was out doing something with his flunkies, so Dru was alone. She lay on the ground, shaking, and convulsing. "Dru, are you okay. Talk to me sweetheart." He said, as he laid her down on the bed.

"Angel, something bad is going to happen. Something horrible is going to happen to you and Buffy. You have to stop them!" She cried, grabbing at his arm.

"Who do I have to stop, Drusilla?" He said, petting her head softly, trying to calm her. She looked in the distance for a second.

"Buffy's old friends, the librian, the guitarist, my gypsy relative, and the young computer girl. They have the spell, Angel." She hissed, staring straight at him with empty, but worried eyes. "You have to do something, my Angel." She whispered, letting her finger tips slide over his cheek.

"I will." He promised. "Thank you, Dru." He said, kissing the back of her hand, and walking out of the room. She smiled as he left the room, always happy to help her dark sire.

He walked back into the garden to see Buffy fast asleep on the couch. He would talk to her about it later tonight, it could wait. He picked her up, trying not to wake her, and carried her into their room. He laid her down carefully on the purple, velvet sheets, and took off her jacket. He brought the covers up to her neck, and crawled into bed with her. She yawned, and cuddled up next to him. "Good night, Angel." She said softly. He smirked, and kissed the top of her head.

"Goodnight, Buffy." He whispered in her ear, trying to push his worry's behind him so he could sleep.

.

He did not know how they had done it, but the spell was finally set up. All they need to do now, was perform the spell. "Willow, we almost ready over there?" Giles asked, handing Oz another stick of incense to burn.

"Almost, just need to setup the orb." She said, placing a large round crystal, in a basket filled with crimson velvet cloth. She smiled as she adjusted the orb, so it faced upright. Angel and Buffy would be back, but devastated. She cringed when she thought of the things that could happen. One of them could commit suicide, both of them could! They might kill each other, they might go insane, or they might swear to never see each other ever again. Stop it Willow! she thought to herself. She sighed softly, it would definitely be hard.

"Ready over here." She said, turning to Giles. He came over, and inspected her work. "Very well done. Well, let's get this show on the road." He said softly, with a twinge of worry. He took off his glasses, and rubbed his eyes, slipped them back on, and picked up a pile of papers. Oz lit his incense stick up, and waved it around a bit, letting the sweet, mystic smell seep into the room. While Willow did the same with a pot of herbs. She sat on the table over the orb. Jenny, standing next Willow, held book from which she would read the spell after Giles was done reading some Latin.

Giles looked at the papers, whispering a short prayer that this would work. He then started to recite the introduction to the spell.

.

Buffy slowly sat up in bed. Her head was all tingly, and she did not feel well. I thought vampires could not get sick! she thought to herself. She suddenly felt a tearing feeling in her stomach, and she felt dizzy. She grabbed on to a nearby chair, but fell over anyway. The last thing she saw was darkness as Angel ran over to her side about 30 seconds too late.

"Buffy?" He whispered, running his fingers through her hair. He shook her lightly, in hope to wake her from unconsciousness. He breathed air into his not needed lungs sharply as he felt a tearing feeling in his stomach. He knew the feeling all too well, he was too late. There was nothing he could do now as he slipped in to unconsciousness, falling right next to Buffy.

.

Willow watched in awe as the orb glowed bright gold's, and yellows that filled the room. It went out, and then glowed once more, before it disappeared into thin air. She gasped, and looked around the room, just to make sure everyone saw that. Oz just stared at the orb, not able to move.

"Wow." He said, putting it simply. "I am guessing that means that it worked?" He asked, turning to the brainiac in the room, Giles.

"Yes, Oz. That means it worked." He responded, with a proud, and happy smile on his face. "That means it worked." He said again.

"So, what do we do now?" Willow asked.

"We go home, and get some sleep. Some very much needed sleep." He said, starting to clean up the mess they had made.

"Do you want us to help, Rupert?" Misses Calendar asked.

"No thanks, I think I will just be fine." He responded. "You can all go home." He said, smiling to himself as he walked into his office.
