What is this show about?

What show? Isn't this a website about angels?
This is a fan site dedicated to the television series, Angel and to the character of the same name. The character originated on the series, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, created by Joss Whedon. The series lasted for five seasons on the WB network.

Where can I find videos/DVDs of Angel?
All five seasons of Angel are now available on DVD. I recommend amazon.com.

Are you Chrystal? Are you David? Do you work for the WB?
No. No. No. I'm Anne, the site administrator. I am just one of Angel's many fans. I have a so-called "real life;" this web site is just something that I do for fun.

When can we expect site updates?
Since news and other info about the show is rare, now that the show is no longer on, I usually update once every few months.

Why don't you update the site more often?
As noted above, information about the show is pretty rare, so there's not much to report. Plus, although I do enjoy website work, I don't spend all of my spare time doing it. Sometimes I read, talk to my family, watch TV, go for a walk, etc.

Do you need some help with the site?
That would be great! I'm always on the lookout for news items so if you find any, send them - and the link to the source, if possible - my way. If you contribute something, send me your name (and site's link, if you have one) and I'll give you credit, along with my undying gratitude. *g*

Are you still accepting fanfiction?
Absolutely! Just be sure to follow the submission guidelines.

Will you create an episode guide?
Probably not because there is already an excellent Angel episode guide available. Go to the Angelguide listed on our links page. (Note that the Angelguide site has closed, but the episode guide is still available at the Internet Archive. Again, see the links page.)

May I use your pictures/graphics on my site/message board/whatever?
I respectfully request that you not use the graphics that I made for my layout. I worked hard to create a banner that I liked, and I designed it specifically for use on this site. You may save the pictures in the gallery to your own computer for your own personal use, but do not direct link to them. (FYI, direct-linking is disabled at this domain; those who try will find themselves linking to my hotlink graphic. This makes it easy for me to track them. *big smile*)

May I use your info on my site/message board/whatever?
You may, on two conditions. 1) You give me credit by providing a link to this site, on whatever page my info is used, and 2) you don't take more than one or two things. I'm glad that you like what I've done here, but I'll be less than understanding if you copy large sections of my site. Thanks for respecting the time and effort that I put into this site.

Will you link to my site/message board/whatever?
Before you write to request that I link to a site, please be aware that I do not do "link exchanges", or link swaps, or whatever else people might call it. Much of the email I get from this site is about that topic, so let me be clear: I *only* add links to sites that I find informative and/or entertaining -- and that typically does *not* include sites that are selling something. Thank you for understanding that I'm trying to have a collection of relevant Angel/Buffy sites.

Will you place my banner on your site to advertise (whatever)?
Probably not. (No, not even for petty change or the chance to win some trinket.) I don't pay for my own website space to clutter it up with ads. If you have an Angel-related announcement, I *might* add a text link to it on the main page.

Who plays Angel's theme song? Where can I hear the theme?
The group Darling Violetta plays the theme, which is called Sanctuary. As of this writing (mid 2009), you can hear the theme right here, and you can see the extended version of the video (with scenes from Angel) here at youtube.

Can you give David my letter or email message?
No. (What? What was that? No.) Unfortunately, I have NO connection with David or anyone involved in the series. I do NOT have any email addresses of any of the show's cast members. If you would like to contact David or any Angel cast members, see if FanMail.biz has a current address for him. (Also, I am very certain that he does not read my guestbook, so please do not leave messages for him in it. Thanks!)

Is David married or dating anyone?
This site contains *very* little information on David's personal life. Any that I have will be on the Angel News Page. Try Phoenix's David Boreanaz site for more information; the link is on the links page.

Why don't you have more information about David?
The main reason: the only info that I would have about him is whatever I hear about him - basically gossip - and I have no way to verify its accuracy. The other reason is that I want to respect his privacy as much as possible.

So what is Angel's secret?
If you don't know, I can't tell you. ;)

I really hate (insert whatever here) about this site! How can I get you to change it?!
I believe it was Abraham Lincoln who said, "You can't please all of the people all of the time." As much as I want everyone to enjoy their visit to Angel's Secrets, I realize that not everyone will. If there's something you would like to see changed, please let me know (with something a bit more constructive than "this site sucks!") and I'll see what I can do. Or better yet, create your own Angel fan site and send me the link. I consider myself a very open-minded person, and if I like your site I'll mention it on the links page.

You can:
